Karine Levy is a bilingual registered dietitian who specializes in nutrition communications. A true foodie, Karine loves to discover new foods and share her experiences.

An accomplished speaker, she’s invited on a regular basis to give corporate presentations on nutrition topics in the workplace. In her media appearances, Karine loves to communicate the science-based impact of healthy eating on wellbeing. Karine has appeared on numerous programs such as CTV News, CTV’s Sunday Bite, Radio-Canada’s L’épicerie, TV5’sScience ou Fiction and TVA’s LCN Nouvelles. She’s collaborated on several articles for publications including IGA’s Inspired magazine, Coup de pouce and Divine magazine. She’s been heard across the country on CBC radio, and locally on 98.5 FM and 101.9 FM Radio Passion-Rock. She hosts a radio show every Monday on 1650 AM, La vérité si je mange, to discern fact from fiction, and get you on track to a healthier you.

Karine started her career over 10 years ago in private practice where she developed expertise in nutritional counselling focusing on wellness and lifestyle issues. As project manager at NDC-Nutrition at Work, Karine brings to the team her strong communication skills and delivers high quality workplace nutrition solutions and services. She actively participates in the planning and implementation of services across Canada including program design, customized nutrition services and training programs.

Karine loves to cook, and especially – believe it or not – with her mother-in-law. She has one rule: You don’t have to sacrifice taste to have a healthy diet. She wants others to discover and enjoy the health benefits and sense of fulfillment that come from healthy eating. Karine’s love of food began when she was a young girl growing up in a household where her dad made sure she always ate breakfast and never missed family dinners, her mom took the time to explain the vitamins and minerals found in fruits and vegetables. One thing is for sure: food was a family affair!

Karine is the real deal: she is a graduate of McGill University, a member of l’Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec (OPDQ) and Dietitians of Canada. Dedicated to her profession, Karine is involved with promoting La Journée des diététistes in Quebec and she co-chairs the Dietitians of Canada Consulting Network and is the Dietitians of Canada Spokesperson and the Quebec Media Spokesperson for Nutrition Month 2015.
